Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard Bronze 270 Win 24" 5rd Rifle

The Vanguard Weatherguard Bronze puts a burnt bronze Cerakote barreled action in a hand sprayed polymer Monte Carlo stock, black with bronze webbing and a palm swell on the right side. This one is chambered in 270 Winchester with a 24 inch #2 contour cold hammer forged barrel threaded 1/2-28, so a brake or suppressor goes on without a trip to the gunsmith. Each rifle is hand fitted for alignment, and Weatherby guarantees sub MOA accuracy: three shots at .99 inch or less at 100 yards with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition.

The action is classic Vanguard. A one piece machined and fluted bolt body runs inside a fully enclosed bolt sleeve, the receiver has an integral recoil lug, and the hinged floorplate drops the 5 round internal magazine for quick unloading. You get an adjustable two stage match trigger and a 3 position safety that lets you work the bolt with the safety on. The 270 Win has dropped deer, sheep and elk for close to a century, and the Cerakote finish keeps rust off when the weather turns.
