Weatherby Orion Sporting Matte 12 GA 30" Shotgun

The Orion Sporting Matte is Weatherby's over and under 12 gauge for sporting clays, trap, skeet and the bird field, finished in matte instead of the usual gloss. It has 30" chrome lined barrels with 3" chambers under a tapered ventilated top rib (10mm x 6mm), with a fiber optic front sight. The longer barrels give a smooth, controlled swing on crossing and long targets, and the vent rib keeps heat shimmer out of the sight picture during long strings.

The stock is matte finished A grade walnut with diamond point checkering and a four way adjustable comb, so you can set the gun up to come to the shoulder the same way every time. The receiver is low profile, with matte blue metalwork, automatic ejectors and an ambidextrous top tang safety with barrel selector, letting you choose which barrel and choke fire first. Extended, knurled choke tubes swap by hand, and the gun comes with five of them: Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder and Skeet. Weight is about 7.5 lbs. It is a right hand stock, and the adjustable comb makes it easy to fit to the shooter.
