TR Imports Yukon Pump YP12 12 GA 28" 4rd Wood Shotgun

TR Imports built the Yukon Pump line for new hunters and it shows in the details. The YP12 is the full size 12 gauge with a 14.5" length of pull, a 28" barrel, and wood furniture front and back. Nothing about it needs explaining: a 3" chamber, a 4rd magazine tube, a fiber optic front bead, and a pump action, which is the most forgiving shotgun mechanism ever put into production. There is nothing to switch off, nothing to tune, and nothing that cares whether the shell in the chamber is a light dove load or a 3" magnum.

A 28" barrel is the classic upland and waterfowl length, long enough to swing smoothly through a crossing bird without hanging up on the edge of a blind. Wood furniture gives the gun a warmth synthetic never has, and it takes a knock without looking permanently ruined the way scratched polymer does. The fiber optic front bead pulls the eye to the muzzle in low light, which is when most birds actually move. Pump guns are also indifferent to ammunition - light target loads that would not cycle a gas gun run fine here, so a box of trap shells and a box of buckshot both work in the same gun on the same day. As a first shotgun, a truck gun, or the loaner that gets handed to whoever showed up empty handed, the YP12 covers the job.
