Tisas 1911A1 Stakeout 45 ACP 5" 8rd Walnut Pistol

Tisas built the Stakeout by borrowing the parts of their Duty and Tank Commander pistols that shooters kept asking for, then wrapping them in a snag free package. The sights are enhanced A1 style, the safety is the A1 service pattern, and the hammer is a rounded spur, so nothing on the outside of this 1911 catches on a cover garment or a holster mouth. An extended beavertail grip safety was added on top of that, which lets you take a high grip without the hammer biting the web of your hand.

It is a full size 45 ACP with a 5 inch barrel and 8 round magazines, and two magazines come in the box along with a lockable hard case, a cleaning kit, a bushing wrench and the paperwork. Walnut grips finish it off and give the pistol a service era look rather than a modern competition one. Tisas has spent the last several years building 1911s in volume, and the Stakeout sits in the part of the line built for carrying and shooting rather than showing. Recoil in a full size 45 stays soft and the manual of arms is the one every 1911 owner already knows.
