Tisas 1911 Carry SS45 45 ACP 4.25" 8rd Stainless Pistol

The Tisas 1911 Carry SS45 is a Commander length 1911 in 45 ACP built on a stainless steel frame and slide with a 4.25" barrel. Trimming the slide takes length and weight off the muzzle end without touching the grip, so the gun still runs standard 8 round magazines and still fills the hand like a full size 1911. Two magazines are included.

The feature list reads like a custom shop order sheet. The barrel is hammer forged and hard chrome plated. Sights are Novak style three dot. The ejection port is lowered and flared, the beavertail grip safety is extended, the thumb safety is extended and ambidextrous, the magazine well is beveled, and the trigger housing is undercut so the hand rides higher on the frame. Internals follow the Series 70 pattern, which most 1911 shooters prefer. Grips are black overmolded rubber, not the prettiest choice on a stainless gun but the one that stays put with wet hands. At roughly 34 ounces empty this carries heavier than a polymer 9mm, and that weight is exactly why a steel 45 comes back on target as flat as it does.
