Tikka T3x CTR 6mm CM 24" 10rd Stainless Rifle

The T3x CTR, short for Compact Tactical Rifle, sits between a hunting rifle and a full chassis gun. Tikka gives it a semi heavy stainless barrel that free floats in the stock, threaded at the muzzle for a brake or a can, and a 10 round detachable magazine so a range session is not one long reloading drill. The synthetic stock has an adjustable cheekpiece, which is what makes the difference when a big scope raises the sight line above where your face naturally sits.

Tikka actions have a reputation for the smoothest bolt throw in the price class, and the CTR keeps that with a Teflon coated bolt and an oversized bolt knob for faster cycling from behind the scope. A picatinny rail is already fitted, the trigger guard is aluminum, and the magazine release lever falls right under a trigger finger for quick changes. The barrel is cold hammer forged. In 6mm Creedmoor the recoil is mild enough to spot your own impacts, which is the whole point of the cartridge, and the 24" tube gets the most out of it.
