Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT 6mm Creedmoor 20" 4rd Burnt Bronze Rifle

6mm Creedmoor started as a competition wildcat and turned into one of the better light recoiling deer and antelope rounds a hunter can carry. Putting it in the Ridgeline FFT is a sensible pairing, since the rifle is built around weight savings and the cartridge does not need a heavy gun to stay pleasant. The barrel is stainless steel under an aerograde carbon fiber wrap at 20", threaded at the muzzle with a removable stainless side baffle brake fitted.

Christensen's Flash Forged Technology stock is the piece that makes the number on the scale work. It is carbon fiber built as a monocoque shell instead of a filled composite skin, which strips roughly a pound compared to a conventional stock, and the action is spot bedded into it so the barrel hangs free. Metal is Burnt Bronze, the stock is Barren Dune camo. The receiver is machined steel on a Remington 700 footprint, drilled and tapped for standard bases, and a TriggerTech trigger sets the pull. An internal box magazine with an aluminum hinged floor plate holds 4 rounds, the bottom metal takes an AICS conversion if you want detachable magazines later, and the rifle carries a sub MOA accuracy guarantee from the day you open the case.
