About the CVA Cascade LR Hunter
CVA built the Cascade Long Range Hunter around one idea: give a hunter the tools of a precision rifle without the weight of a full chassis gun. The 24" heavy contour #5 barrel is fluted to shed weight and shrug off heat during a long string at the range, and a radial muzzle brake keeps 6mm Creedmoor recoil down to something you can spot your own hits through. Behind the brake the muzzle is threaded, so a suppressor goes on if that is how you hunt.
Up top is a 20 MOA Picatinny rail, which matters when you start dialing elevation and do not want to run out of turret. The stock adjusts two ways. The cheek piece raises to meet a large objective scope, and length of pull spacers come out as your clothing gets thicker. The flat bottom forend rides a bag or a tripod head without rocking. Smoked bronze Cerakote covers the barreled action and the graphite black stock carries bronze webbing to match. A four round detachable box magazine feeds it. For a hunter stepping into longer shots, that is a lot of rifle in one package.
