Auto-Ordnance 1927A-1 Deluxe 45 ACP 16.5" 20/50rd Detachable Stock Rifle

This Thompson 1927A-1 Deluxe has the feature the original Tommy Gun was known for and most reproductions skip: a detachable buttstock. Pull the walnut stock and it breaks down shorter for storage and transport, then goes back on for shooting. Everything else is the classic semi auto 1927A-1 in 45 ACP.

The receiver is milled steel with a blued finish. The finned 16.5" barrel wears a pinned Cutts compensator, and the furniture is polished American walnut with a vertical foregrip. Sights are a blade front with an open adjustable rear. It comes with two magazines, one 20 round stick and one 50 round drum. Overall length with the stock on is 41" and it weighs about 13 lbs, so recoil from the 45 ACP is very mild and the gun hangs steady on target. It is a good pick for the collector who wants the most faithful Thompson setup, or for anyone who needs the gun to fit a smaller case between trips to the range.
