Taurus TX 22 Pistol 22 Long Rifle 4.1 inch Barrel 16 rounds

The Taurus TX 22 Pistol brings a competition-ready rimfire platform to the shooter who wants a full-size .22LR that behaves like a tuned race gun straight from the box, featuring a 4.10" steel alloy barrel, hard-anodized serrated aluminum slide and a lightweight polymer frame that balances at 17.3 oz for controllable follow-up shots. Its Taurus Performance Trigger System (PTS) and single-action-only striker firing system deliver a short, smooth pull and a predictable break that benefits target shooters, training instructors, and plinkers alike, while the fixed white-dot front and adjustable white-dot rear sight setup lets you dial in rapid, precise sight picture for both rimfire competition and deliberate practice. The TX 22's integrated Picatinny rail accepts optics and lights for tactical drills or small-game hunting, and an included suppressor adapter collar with 1/2-28 external threading makes it simple to run most .22LR suppressors for quieter range sessions. Built-in manual safety, striker block and trigger safety add layered protection for new shooters and coaches, and the 16+1 capacity with single-stack grip ergonomics offers a comfortable hold for extended training. As the Guns & Ammo 2019 Handgun of the Year from Taurus, the TX 22 is an economical, reliable semi-auto pistol that requires FFL transfer for purchase and is well-suited to competition, classroom instruction, and low-recoil shooting fun.
