About the KelTec P17 22 LR
The KelTec P17 is a compact 22 LR pistol that weighs under 14 ounces fully loaded and is barely longer than a dollar bill. Each magazine holds 16 rounds and three magazines come standard, so you spend more time shooting and less time loading. The 3.8 inch barrel is threaded 1/2-28 for a suppressor or muzzle device.
A fiber optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight help you stretch the P17's range, and the trigger is light and clean at about 3 pounds. You also get a Picatinny style accessory rail, an ambidextrous safety and an ambidextrous magazine release, so left handed shooters are not left out. The polymer frame keeps it light and the steel slide is serrated for a sure grip. Its size, weight and caliber make it a good trainer for a new shooter, and experienced shooters can use it to sharpen fundamentals on a budget. This is the all black version.
