Ruger Mark IV 22/45 22 LR 5.5" 10rd CA Compliant Pistol

The Mark IV 22/45 puts Ruger's rimfire target action inside a polymer grip frame shaped like a 1911, so the grip angle and the panels feel familiar to anyone who shoots a 1911. This model runs a 5.5" bull barrel, cold hammer forged, on a blued alloy steel receiver. The barrel and receiver are one piece and the bolt rides inside it, which keeps the sights aligned with the bore shot after shot. A fixed front sight and adjustable rear come standard, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for a Weaver or Picatinny style rail if you want a red dot or scope on top.

Takedown is the big Mark IV improvement. Press the button at the back of the frame and the barreled receiver tilts up and off the grip frame with no tools, so you can clean from chamber to muzzle. The ambidextrous manual safety can be set up left side only with the included washer, the magazine drops free when you hit the release, and a magazine disconnect blocks firing with the magazine out. The grip frame has a serrated frontstrap and checkered backstrap with checkered synthetic panels.
