Taurus Raging Hunter 500 S&W Mag 8.37" 5rd Two-Tone Revolver

This Taurus Raging Hunter is the two-tone 500 S&W Magnum with an 8.37" barrel. The frame is matte stainless, the barrel shroud and unfluted cylinder are matte black, and the barrel is ported with a target crown. Porting vents gas upward to keep the muzzle down, which matters a great deal with this cartridge. A Picatinny rail on top takes a scope or red dot directly.

Weight is 4.22 lbs unloaded and overall length is 14.8", and that mass is part of the design. The unfluted cylinder adds steel to soak up recoil, and the Taurus double lock system holds the cylinder closed at two points under heavy magnum pressure. The action is double action/single action with a transfer bar safety. Sights are a fixed front with a fully adjustable rear, and the black rubber grip has a cushioned insert to protect your hand during long sessions.
