Geissele Super Duty MOD1 5.56 NATO 16" DDC Heavy Barrel Rifle

The heavy barrel Super Duty MOD1 is for shooters who put a lot of rounds downrange in a hurry. Geissele's 16 inch heavy profile barrel is cold hammer forged and chrome lined with a 1:7 twist, and Geissele built it to handle sustained rates of fire. A HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556 sits on the 1/2-28 muzzle threads, and Geissele lists it as compatible with the HUXWRX FLOW series of suppressors. The rifle is finished in Desert Dirt Color, Geissele's tan and brown shade.

The flat top upper carries a Picatinny rail for optics. Geissele's SSA-E X two stage trigger with the Lightning Bow shape comes installed, along with the Ultra Duty lower parts kit, a reliability enhanced bolt carrier group and a Super 42 buffer spring with an H2 buffer weight. The 15 inch MK16 rail, B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stock and Geissele A17 grip finish the package. At about 7.6 pounds it is heavier than the standard profile MOD1, and that weight is the point if sustained fire is in your plans. Magazines are not included.
