Standard Manufacturing SP-12 Compact Pro 12 GA 14.5" 5rd Shotgun

The Standard Manufacturing SP-12 Compact Pro is the short version of the SP-12 bottom feed pump 12 gauge. It has a 14.5" barrel, a bird's head grip instead of a stock, and an overall length of 26.5". The ATF classifies the compact model as an "other" firearm. It holds 5 rounds of 2.75" shells in the magazine and accepts 2.75" and 3" shells.

Like the full size SP-12, it is fully ambidextrous: controls work the same from either side, and shells feed and eject through the bottom of the receiver. The receiver is machined from aircraft grade aluminum, the safety is ambidextrous and the controls are AR style. The barrel is threaded to take choke tubes and other accessories. At 5 lbs 12 oz it is light and quick to handle in tight spaces, which is the point of a home defense gun this size. The short barrel and grip make it easy to store in a closet or vehicle.
