Springfield Armory XD Subcompact 9mm 3" 16rd Woodland Pistol

The XD changed what buyers expected from a polymer pistol when it landed in 2001, and this subcompact 9mm keeps everything that made it popular. The 3" barrel and short grip carry easily inside the waistband, yet the gun holds 16 rounds of 9mm. Springfield layers its safeties: a passive grip safety, a trigger safety in the USA Action trigger system and a firing pin block work together, which a lot of carriers like.

What makes this one different is the slide. Shark Coast Tactical finished it in a custom M81 Woodland camo Cerakote, so this exclusive model is an eye catching take on a proven carry gun. The polymer frame keeps weight down, the ambidextrous magazine release works for either hand, and a loaded chamber indicator lets you check status by sight or touch. Fixed 3 dot sights give a fast, familiar picture. It is a solid pick for everyday carry or a nightstand gun with some personality.
