Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport II 5.56 NATO 16" 10rd CA Compliant Rifle

The M&P15 Sport II in its California compliant build is a 16" 5.56 NATO AR-15 set up with a fixed stock and a 10 round magazine. It also accepts 223 Remington. The Sport II upgrades the original Sport with a forward bolt assist and a dust cover, and the forged aluminum upper and lower receivers wear a matte black finish. The integral trigger guard is forged in, not bolted on.

The 16" steel barrel has Armornite on the inside and outside for corrosion resistance, a 1 in 9 twist and a non threaded target crown muzzle. Sights come on the gun: an adjustable A2 post up front and a folding Magpul MBUS rear on the flattop rail, so you can shoot it out of the box and still add an optic later. The firing pin is chromed and the safety selector is ambidextrous. Overall length is 35". It is a straightforward, dependable AR for range days, training and home use in states that require this configuration.
