Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III 5.56 NATO 16" 30rd Bundle Rifle

The Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III is an AR-15 chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 16" barrel, a 1:8 twist and a mid length gas system. This bundle includes a Duty Series range case and a Real Avid AR-15 tool along with the rifle and one 30 round magazine, so a new owner has a way to carry it and the basic tool for working on it.

The Sport III adds a free float M-LOK handguard over the earlier Sport models, giving more places to mount lights, grips and sling points without touching the barrel. It keeps the forward assist and dust cover, a forged integral trigger guard and a chromed firing pin, and the barrel wears an Armornite finish for corrosion resistance. A collapsible stock adjusts length of pull and the A2 grip is familiar to anyone who has run an AR. It is a light, straightforward carbine for range work, home defense and learning the AR platform, with plenty of room to build on.
