Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 Blush Hearts 380 ACP 2.75" 12rd Pistol

The Blush Hearts edition is one of Smith & Wesson's decorative runs on the Bodyguard 2.0 frame, and it is the version fitted with a frame mounted manual safety. That lever suits shooters who carry in a purse, a bag, or another off body setup where the trigger guard is not always covered, and it suits anyone who trained on a safety and wants one under the thumb.

The mechanical side of the gun is unchanged. Chambering is 380 ACP through a 2.75" barrel, and the pistol comes with two magazines, a 10rd that sits flush and a 12rd with an extended baseplate. Capacity like that in a pistol this small was not on offer a few years ago in anything that would still ride in a pocket. The trigger is flat faced with a short reset, the slide is stainless with front and rear serrations, and the polymer frame is textured at the grip. Recoil stays modest because the action is locked breech rather than straight blowback, which also means the slide is easy to cycle. It is a small carry pistol a newer shooter can actually learn on instead of just carrying and hoping.
