About the Beretta 84 380 ACP
The Beretta 84 is the 380 ACP member of the Cheetah family, a line that has been in service with European police forces and American shooters since the mid 1970s. The alloy frame holds the weight down, the open top slide that Beretta is known for throws brass clear without hanging up, and the double stack magazine gives the 84 a real capacity edge over the single stack 380s it competed against.
The trigger is traditional double action: a long first pull with the hammer down, then short single action strokes for everything after. Being a blowback design, there is no locking system to wear or time, which is a large part of why so many of these pistols are still running fifty years on. Recoil in 380 ACP out of an all metal frame this size is mild, and the wide grip spreads what little there is across the whole hand. This gun is a previously owned example graded in good condition, so expect honest finish wear and handling marks on a mechanically sound pistol rather than a factory fresh one. Barrel length and magazine capacity are not listed for this particular lot.
