Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 380 ACP 2.75" 12rd RFX1 Pistol

Smith & Wesson's second generation Bodyguard is a different animal from the original 380. Capacity went up to twelve without the gun getting meaningfully bigger, the grip got thinner where it meets the hand, and the trigger became a flat face striker unit instead of the long double action pull that defined the old model. Barrel length is 2.75", stainless with an Armornite finish over it. The magazine release reverses for left hand shooters. This configuration has no thumb safety, which keeps the draw stroke as simple as it can be.

What separates this version from the plain gun is the optic. The Viridian RFX1 is installed at the factory, purpose built for this slide, and needs no adapter plate and no milling. It is a green 3 MOA dot in an aluminum housing rated IPX4 against water, and it adds almost nothing to the weight of the pistol. Serrations machined into the optic housing carry on from the slide serrations, so racking the gun off the optic still works. One 10 round and one 12 round magazine come in the box, so the same pistol runs flush for deep concealment or full height when concealment is not the priority.
