Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 380 ACP 2.75" 10rd CA Compliant Pistol

The Bodyguard 2.0 is the gun the original Bodyguard should have been. Smith kept the pocket sized footprint and the 2.75" barrel, then rebuilt everything else: a striker fired action with a flat face trigger that breaks clean, a reversible magazine release, and a grip profile that finally gives the hand something to hold onto. Capacity went from 6 rounds to 10 in a gun that still disappears in a pocket holster at under 10 ounces.

This is the California compliant version with a thumb safety, and it comes with two 10 round magazines, one flat and one with a pinky extension. The front sight carries a tritium insert inside a bright dot for low light work, and the rear is a black U notch that stays out of the way of the front dot. The 380 ACP chambering keeps recoil manageable in a gun this light, and the slide racks easily enough for shooters who struggle with a 9mm. The frame is textured polymer and the stainless slide and barrel wear an Armornite finish that handles sweat better than bare steel. For pocket carry, ankle carry or a backup role, the Bodyguard 2.0 gives up very little to guns twice its size.
