Sig Sauer P226 Freedom 9mm 4.4" 15rd Bronze Pistol

The P226 Freedom is a limited edition build on Sig's full size service pistol, with "Freedom" and the US flag engraved into a bronze slide. Underneath the engraving it is a standard P226: an alloy frame with a Picatinny rail, a DA/SA trigger, a stainless steel slide, and a 4.4" barrel chambered in 9mm. The two tone treatment pairs that bronze slide against a black frame.

SIGLite day and night sights come standard, and the grip is a one piece ergonomic polymer panel rather than the two piece grips older P226s wore. Three 15 round steel magazines are included, which is one more than most pistols come with. A portion of every Freedom pistol sale goes to the NRA-ILA. The P226 has been carried by military and police units around the world since the 1980s, and the DA/SA trigger is a large part of why: a long, deliberate first pull that is difficult to fire by accident, followed by a short, light single action pull for every shot after that. This version simply looks better in the safe than the black ones sitting next to it.
