The Sharps Bros The Jack is the skull lower, and the Gen2 version adds a threaded bolt catch pin, lighter weight and refined styling over the original. It is a stripped AR-15 lower receiver machined top to bottom from billet 7075 aluminum, finished in black hardcoat anodizing and marked multi caliber. The stripped receiver weighs 11.1 oz.
The trigger guard is oversized and integral, and a beveled magazine flare guides magazines home. The Jack takes all mil-spec internal parts and aftermarket mil-spec upper receivers, and it runs GI magazines as well as PMAGs. You supply the lower parts kit, buffer and stock to finish it. It is a build for someone who wants the rifle to make a statement before it is ever fired, without giving up standard parts compatibility.
