Sharps Bros AR-15 Warthog Gen2 Stripped Lower Receiver

The Sharps Bros Warthog Gen2 is styled after the A-10 Warthog ground attack aircraft. It is a stripped AR-15 lower receiver machined top to bottom from billet 7075 aluminum, finished in black hardcoat anodizing and marked multi caliber. The Gen2 update brings a threaded bolt catch pin, reduced weight and cleaner styling; the stripped receiver weighs 10.3 oz.

Function is standard AR-15. The trigger guard is oversized and integral, the magazine well has a beveled flare, and the receiver takes all mil-spec internal parts and aftermarket mil-spec upper receivers. It runs GI magazines and PMAGs. Add a lower parts kit, buffer and stock to complete it. It is a good fit for a build themed around the A-10, or for anyone who simply wants a lower with more personality than a standard forging.
