Sharps Bros AR-15 Livewire Stripped Lower Receiver

The Sharps Bros Livewire is a stripped AR-15 lower receiver that keeps a traditional profile but has a look all its own. It has a heavily flared magazine well, a stepped transition between the trigger guard and the mag well, and clean lines all around. Each Livewire is forged from 7075 aluminum into a near final shape with a custom forging tool, then finish machined on Sharps Bros CNC equipment. The finish is black anodized, and the receiver carries a multi caliber marking.

The details are there for function as well as looks. The trigger guard is oversized and integral, so there is no separate guard or roll pin to deal with. The bolt release is ambidextrous, the bolt catch pin is threaded, and the rear takedown pin recess is threaded too. It takes mil-spec internal parts, so a standard lower parts kit drops in. This is a stripped receiver: you supply the lower parts kit, buffer and stock to finish it, then pair it with the AR-15 upper of your choice for a build that does not look like every other rifle on the rack.
