Shark Coast Tactical Mongoose 5.56 NATO 10.5" 30rd Pistol

The Mongoose is Shark Coast Tactical's take on the compact 5.56 NATO AR pistol, finished in a custom Cerakote pattern applied over aluminum receivers. The 10.5" barrel is nitride treated and threaded at the muzzle, and the handguard is M-LOK, which keeps pressure off the barrel and puts attachment points where the support hand actually lands.

Handling is where a pistol length AR earns its keep. With the SB Tactical SBA3 brace collapsed the gun is short enough to fit a backpack or a discreet case, and with the brace extended it shoulders and points like a carbine. The gun stays light enough to hold on target longer than a full size rifle, which is the practical argument for the format. The Picatinny rail across the top of the upper receiver takes any optic mount, and the 30rd magazine is the same one that feeds every other AR-15 in the safe. The polymer grip and standard trigger keep the parts count familiar. Nothing here needs proprietary hardware and nothing here is hard to service. What a buyer is really paying for is the finish work, which is done by hand one gun at a time.
