Shark Coast Tactical Mongoose 5.56 NATO 16" 30rd Rifle

The Mongoose AR from Shark Coast Tactical is all about the finish. Its receivers and handguard are coated in Mongoose Gun Candy Cerakote, a color shifting finish that changes tone as the light moves across it, so the rifle looks different in the shop, in the sun and under range lights. Black Magpul furniture frames the color and keeps the controls easy to find.

Mechanically it is a 5.56 NATO AR-15 with a 16" threaded barrel, ready for a flash hider, brake or suppressor mount. It takes standard 30 round AR-15 magazines, and the Magpul SL-K collapsible stock adjusts for body armor, winter coats or a smaller shooter. The lever safety and right hand controls are the standard AR-15 layout. At about 6.6 lbs with aluminum receivers, it carries easily and points quickly. It is a good pick for a shooter who wants a carbine that works hard and also looks like nothing else in the safe.
