Tisas 1911 A1 Tank Commander 9mm 4.25" 9rd Pistol

The Tisas 1911 A1 Tank Commander in 9mm gives you the WWII tanker pistol look in a caliber that is easier to shoot. A Commander length slide and 4.25" barrel sit on a full size forged steel frame, so the grip stays full while the gun gets shorter at the muzzle. The finish is a plain dark military look, with walnut grips and enhanced GI style sights that are easier to pick up than the tiny originals.

The barrel is cold hammer forged and the internals follow the Colt Series 70 pattern, with a flat mainspring housing. The 9mm version holds 9 rounds per magazine, two more than the 45, and two magazines come with it along with a lockable hard case, a cleaning kit, a bushing wrench, a trigger lock and the manual. Weight is about 34 oz unloaded, and in 9mm that steel frame soaks up much of the recoil. It is a good first 1911 for a new shooter, a range gun for someone who likes the classic look, or a traditional carry piece.
