Tisas 1911 Duty B45B 45 ACP 5" 8rd Bobtail Pistol

The Tisas 1911 Duty B45B is a full size, Government length 1911 in 45 ACP with one feature that changes how it carries: a bobtail frame. The rear of the grip is cut and rounded, so the corner that usually prints through a shirt is gone, and you still get a 5" barrel and full length sight radius up top. Frame and slide are forged steel, finished in black Cerakote, and the slide has rear serrations.

Magazines hold 8 rounds of 45 ACP. Sights are Novak style three dot units, and the gun wears black G10 grips with a sunburst texture that locks into your hand. It has the upgrades most shooters add to a basic 1911: a beavertail grip safety, an extended ambidextrous thumb safety, a skeletonized trigger, a beveled magazine well and a flared ejection port. The internals follow the Colt 70 Series pattern, so parts and gunsmith support are easy to find. It is a good fit for someone who wants a classic full size 45 for home defense or the range that also hides better under a cover garment than a square heel 1911.
