Savage Axis 2 XP 308 Win 20" 4rd Gray 3-9x40 Scope Rifle

The Axis 2 XP in 308 Winchester is a package rifle: gray synthetic stock, a 20" threaded barrel, a detachable box magazine holding 4 rounds and a 3-9x40 scope mounted and bore sighted at the factory. The receiver is drilled and tapped, so the glass can be swapped later without a trip to a gunsmith, and the barrel is threaded at the muzzle for anyone who wants to add a brake or a can down the road.

Savage's user adjustable AccuTrigger is the feature that carried this line, letting the owner set pull weight rather than living with whatever the factory picked. Length of pull is adjustable as well. The stock has a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells and texturing where the hands land. On the scope, the lenses are fully multi coated and the windage and elevation adjustments are tool less, so a first zeroing session does not need a screwdriver or a coin from the truck console.
