Savage 110 Ultralite 28 Nosler 24" 2rd Gray Left Hand Rifle

The left hand 110 Ultralite gives south paw hunters the same lightweight build Savage developed with PROOF Research. The 24" PROOF Research barrel is carbon fiber wrapped stainless steel with cut rifling, chambered in 28 Nosler, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 with a flush fit cap installed. The stainless steel receiver is skeletonized and finished in black Melonite, then drilled and tapped (8-40) for scope bases. All in, the rifle weighs about 6 lbs.

The gray AccuFit synthetic stock adjusts for comb height and length of pull, and its overmolded surfaces give a sure hold in bad weather. The action is factory blueprinted and the bolt is spiral fluted. The user adjustable AccuTrigger breaks between 1.5 and 4 lb, and the 2 round detachable box magazine keeps the belly of the rifle trim. The 28 Nosler is a big, flat shooting magnum, and putting it in a 6 lb left hand rifle makes this a serious mountain gun for elk and other big game at long range.
