Nosler M48 Mountain Carbon 28 Nosler 24" 3rd Granite Green Rifle

The 28 Nosler is one of the flattest shooting 7mm cartridges you can buy, and the M48 Mountain Carbon puts it in a rifle that weighs about 6 pounds. Nosler designed the Mountain Carbon to prove an ultralight did not have to give up accuracy. It uses the Model 48 action with a 24 inch match grade barrel, cut rifled and wrapped in carbon fiber in a Sendero Light contour, bedded with glass and aluminum pillars into a carbon fiber Mountain Hunter stock in Granite Green.

The long action carries 3 rounds in the internal magazine over a hinged floorplate. Steel surfaces are coated in Tungsten Grey Cerakote for weather protection. You also get a Timney trigger with a two position safety and a muzzle threaded 5/8-24 with a thread protector, so a brake or suppressor goes on without a trip to the gunsmith. Nosler guarantees sub MOA accuracy with its prescribed ammunition. For elk and mule deer hunters who want magnum reach without a heavy rifle, it is a hard combination to beat.
