Ruger Mini-14 Ranch 5.56 NATO 18.5" 5rd Hardwood Rifle

The Ruger Mini-14 Ranch in stainless and hardwood is the classic look: bright metal, a warm wood stock and the simple, rugged action that made the Mini-14 a ranch staple. The 18.5" cold hammer forged barrel is chambered for 5.56 NATO and also handles 223 Remington, and the rifle comes with two 5 round magazines. Barrel and receiver are matte stainless steel, a real advantage if the rifle lives in a truck or a barn.

Inside is the Garand style action with a breechbolt locking system, fixed piston gas system and self cleaning moving gas cylinder, which keeps cycling when it gets dusty. Sights are a ghost ring adjustable rear aperture and a protected non glare blade front. Ruger machines scope mounts into the solid steel receiver and includes the rings, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for the included Picatinny rail, so adding a scope or red dot is easy. It weighs about 7 lbs with a 13.5" length of pull. Use it for predators, varmints, pest control or just as a dependable rifle to have around the place.
