Ruger Harrier 5.56 NATO 16.1" 30rd Rifle

The Harrier is Ruger's reworked AR line and the parts list reads like someone went through it line by line. Upper and lower receivers are machined to mil spec dimensions from aluminum forgings. The bolt carrier group is nitrided with a staked gas key. The 16.1" Government profile barrel is threaded 1/2-28 behind an A2 flash hider, and one 30rd Magpul PMAG comes in the box.

The handguard free floats the barrel and is slim enough to actually grip, with M-LOK slots at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions plus eight more toward the muzzle, Picatinny sections front and rear on the top rail, and QD sling sockets on both sides. The lower wears an A2 pattern pistol grip and an M4 style collapsible stock on a mil spec buffer tube, so length of pull adjusts to the shooter and to whatever layers are on that day. Forward assist, dust cover and brass deflector are all there, along with the standard mil spec trigger and charging handle, which means every replacement part in the aftermarket drops straight in. No iron sights are fitted, which is the honest call on a rifle where nearly everyone mounts an optic anyway.
