Ruger American Gen II Wilderness TOPO 450 Bushmaster 20" 3rd Rifle

Straight wall cartridge states pushed the 450 Bushmaster into the mainstream, and Ruger chambers it here in the Generation II American. Heavy .452 bullets inside 200 yards put deer and hogs down without drama, and the 20" barrel keeps the rifle short and quick in thick cover. That barrel is cold hammer forged, spiral fluted and threaded, with a radial port brake installed at the factory to take some of the sting out of a big bore.

The Gen II stock adjusts for length of pull with a removable spacer and carries a low comb that lifts out when a larger scope goes on. Ruger's Marksman Adjustable trigger is owner tunable, the tang safety has a middle detent so the bolt still opens on safe, and the one piece stainless bolt cycles on a 70 degree throw with plenty of clearance under a scope. A Picatinny base comes on the receiver and the flush magazine holds three rounds. Gun metal gray metalwork over a gray splatter stock keeps it from looking like everything else at deer camp.
