Savage Arms 110 Ridge Hunter 450 Bushmaster 18" 5rd Gray Left Hand Rifle

450 Bushmaster throws a heavy 45 caliber bullet at close range velocity, and it hits deer and hogs about the way that description suggests. The 110 Ridge Hunter wraps it in an 18" heavy barrel and a compact stock, which is what a hunter wants when the shot comes at sixty yards from a ladder stand rather than across an open field. This is the left hand version, built that way from the receiver out.

The magazine is a detachable box holding 5rd, which is where the fatter case costs a little capacity against the smaller chamberings in the line. Underneath, it is the same package as the rest of the line: a stainless barreled action wearing a matte finish, a jeweled bolt body and an AccuTrigger the owner can set. Savage fits the 110 Trophy stock in flat dark gray with adjustable length of pull, and it matters more here than on a mild chambering, because a rifle that fits soaks up a good share of what 450 Bushmaster puts back into the shoulder. The muzzle comes threaded and iron sights are fitted.
