Ruger Precision Rimfire 22 WMR 18" 15rd Rifle

This Precision Rimfire model is the 22 WMR version with a 15 round BX-15 Magnum magazine in the box. It also accepts the JMX-1 rotary and other Ruger magnum rimfire magazines. The barrel is an 18 inch cold hammer forged target barrel, 1:14 twist, threaded 1/2-28 with a thread protector installed, ready for a suppressor or muzzle device. Ruger built it to feel like their centerfire Precision Rifle: an AR pattern grip and 45 degree reversible safety, an oversized bolt handle and an adjustable Ruger Marksman trigger with a 2.25 to 5 lb range.

The Quick-Fit stock is part of a molded glass filled nylon chassis. Length of pull runs 12 to 15.5 inches and the comb raises for a scope, with index marks so you can return to a known fit. The stock also has a flat Picatinny bag rider for a rear monopod, a squeeze bag tether point and a metal QD sling pocket. Big-Gun bolt throw adjustment switches between a 1.5 inch rimfire stroke and a 3 inch centerfire stroke to cut down on short stroking. Optics go on a 0 MOA Picatinny base, and the 15 inch aluminum free float handguard has M-LOK slots on four sides. It weighs 6.8 lbs. The extra capacity suits long strings of fire in rimfire matches and pest control.
