Ruger Gunsite Scout 450 Bushmaster 16.1" 4rd Rifle

The Ruger Gunsite Scout was developed with Gunsite, and this version chambers the hard hitting 450 Bushmaster in a handy 16.1" package with an American walnut stock and matte black alloy steel. It is built for fast work at woods ranges. A forward mounted Picatinny rail takes an intermediate eye relief scope for both eyes open shooting, and a ghost ring adjustable rear aperture with a protected blade front gives you a solid iron sight setup right away. Integral scope mounts machined into the solid steel receiver accept the included scope rings.

The action uses a one piece stainless bolt with a non rotating Mauser type controlled round feed extractor and a fixed blade ejector, so empties come out every time. The free floated cold hammer forged barrel wears a Ruger Precision Rifle Hybrid Muzzle Brake to cut recoil without blasting the shooter beside you. A three position safety, a push forward magazine release for the 4 round detachable box magazine, and a soft rubber buttpad with spacers to adjust length of pull finish it off. It weighs about 6.6 pounds.
