Ruger 10/22 Sporter 22 LR 18.5" 10rd Stainless Rifle

The 10/22 Sporter takes the rimfire rifle most people learned on and dresses it in a classic sporter stock of walnut stained hardwood with a checkered finish. This version pairs that stock with an 18.5" stainless steel barrel with a clear satin finish, so it holds up to damp mornings in the squirrel woods. A gold bead front sight and adjustable rear sight are ready out of the box, and sling swivels plus a padded buttplate round out the field setup.

Everything that made the 10/22 famous is here. The detachable 10 round rotary magazine uses a rotor to separate cartridges for reliable feeding and sits flush with the stock. The prominent magazine release drops it without fuss, and a push button cross bolt manual safety is easy to reach. The cold hammer forged barrel locks into the receiver with Ruger's two screw V block. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and a combination scope base adapter is included for Weaver style or .22 tip off mounts. At 5.4 pounds it is light enough for a young shooter and accurate enough for small game.
