Ruger 10/22 Sporter Gator 22 LR 18.5" 10rd Green Rifle

This TALO edition Ruger 10/22 Sporter dresses the classic rimfire in an engraved Green Mountain Gator laminate stock with an alligator design carved into the wood. Underneath it is the same 10/22 that has taught generations to shoot: a 22 LR semi auto with an 18.5" cold hammer forged barrel held in the receiver by Ruger's two screw V block system. The barrel has a satin black finish and a 1:16" twist, and the rifle weighs about 4.9 pounds, light enough for a youth shooter to handle and steady enough for small game.

Feeding comes from the detachable 10 round rotary magazine that sits flush in the stock and separates each cartridge with its rotor. A gold bead front sight and adjustable rear sight are on the barrel, and Ruger includes a combination scope base adapter that accepts both Weaver style and .22 tip off mounts, so adding a scope is a simple job. The push button cross bolt safety and prominent magazine release work the way every 10/22 owner already knows. Sling swivels and a flat buttplate finish it off. It suits plinking, squirrel hunting, and anyone who wants a 10/22 that looks a little different in the rack.
