The sliding tang safety provides instant security, visibility, and accessibility, while the strong, simple, compact falling-block breech mechanism with an artillery-style breechblock and under-lever is ideally suited for today's powerful cartridges. The robust, sturdy sculptured receiver forms a rigid support for the barrel, stock, and sliding breech block. The ejector mechanism offers maximum leverage at the point where it engages the cartridge case and can be adjusted to provide extraction only. Integral scope mounts machined directly on the solid steel quarter rib provide a stable mounting surface for included scope rings. The cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. This single-shot rifle is chambered in .270 Win and features a 22" barrel with express sights. The high-grade American walnut stock complements the beauty and elegance of the receiver and barrel.
