Ruger 10/22 Carbine 22 LR 18.5" 10rd Hardwood Rifle

The Ruger 10/22 Carbine has been the standard 22 LR rifle for decades, and model 1103 is the classic version: an 18.5" barrel, a hardwood stock and a satin black finish on the metal. Ruger has sold millions of 10/22 rifles since 1964, and the reason is simple. The action runs, the rotary magazine feeds, and at 5 lbs the rifle is light enough for a young shooter or a long walk after squirrels.

The 10rd detachable rotary magazine sits flush in the stock and uses a rotor to separate cartridges for reliable feeding. An extended magazine release makes it easy to drop, and the safety is a push button cross bolt. The cold hammer forged barrel locks into the receiver with Ruger's two screw V-block system, and the trigger housing is a heat stabilized, glass filled polymer that shrugs off knocks and weather. Sights are a gold bead front and an adjustable rear. For optics, Ruger includes a combination scope base adapter that takes both Weaver style and .22 tip off mounts.
