Rost Martin RM1F 9mm 4.5" 15rd Pistol

Rost Martin is a newer name in duty sized pistols, and the RM1F is their full size 9mm. It runs a 4.5" hammer forged match barrel, fully ambidextrous slide stop and magazine release, and a slide cut for a red dot with an RMR pattern plate included rather than sold separately. Two 15 round magazines come with the pistol. The list of standard features reads like the options list on guns that have been in production for a decade.

The grip texture is aggressive without being sharp, and it wraps around the front strap and under the trigger guard instead of stopping at the side panels. Sights are a white dot front and a serrated black rear, an arrangement that pushes the eye to the front sight the way a duty gun should. The trigger uses a striker fired design with a short, positive reset. The frame is black polymer with an accessory rail, and the full length dust cover keeps the slide riding straight through the stroke. With a 4.5" barrel and 15 rounds on board, the RM1F sits squarely in the size class that gets worn on a duty belt during the week and shot on a range on Saturday.
