OA Defense 2311 Compact 9mm 4.25" 15rd Pistol

The OA Defense 2311 Compact is a double stack 1911 pattern pistol cut down to a size that actually rides under a shirt. The frame is aluminum with a Picatinny rail up front and a modular polymer grip that swaps out, and the aluminum magwell is flared enough to find under stress. Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the safety and an extended magazine release, so left hand shooters are not working around the gun. The slide is steel, serrated front and rear, and cut from the factory for a red dot.

What separates the 2311 Compact from other double stack 1911s is the fire control. OA's G2 hammer and sear give a short, clean single action break with a fast reset, and that trigger is the reason the platform is worth the weight over a striker gun. The 4.25" barrel keeps the pistol short at the muzzle without shrinking the grip, and a steel slide riding on an aluminum frame keeps the recoil impulse flat. Two 15 round magazines come in the case, and the magwell accepts common P320 pattern magazines, so spares are easy to find. Unloaded weight sits around 26 ounces, light for a metal frame gun holding this much ammunition.
