Nosler M48 Mountain Carbon 6.5 CM 24" 4rd Shale Gray Rifle

Nosler watched the ultralight rifle market for years and saw buyers forced to give up accuracy or spend a fortune to get under the scale. The M48 Mountain Carbon was its answer: a rifle around 6 pounds that still shoots. It starts with the Nosler Model 48 action, mated to a match grade, cut rifled, carbon wrapped barrel in a 24 inch Sendero Light contour. The barrel is glass and aluminum pillar bedded into a 100% carbon fiber, aramid reinforced Mountain Hunter stock, this one in Shale Gray.

Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, it pairs a light rifle with a cartridge that does not punish you for it. The short action holds 4 rounds over a hinged floorplate. Action and bottom metal are coated in Tungsten Grey Cerakote, the Timney trigger has a two position safety, and the muzzle is threaded 5/8-24 for a brake or suppressor. Nosler guarantees sub MOA accuracy with its prescribed ammunition. For sheep, goats, or any hunt where you count ounces on the climb, this is the kind of rifle that earns its spot on the pack.
