Mossberg 990 Aftershock SPX 12 GA 14.75" 5rd Shotgun

The Mossberg 990 Aftershock SPX is a compact semi auto 12 gauge built on a short 14.75 inch barrel with an integrated heat shield and the Aftershock grip in place of a shoulder stock. It chambers 3 inch shells, and the magazine tube holds five 2.75 inch shells. The receiver is optic ready with the Shield RMSc footprint, and Mossberg includes three more adapter plates for RMR, Docter and Leupold pattern optics, so RMR, Docter and Leupold footprint optics mount as well.

The SPX package adds features that make the gun easier to run. The forend has M-LOK slots and QD sling ports, and the magazine tube extension also carries M-LOK slots for a light. The loading port is enlarged and beveled for faster reloads, the charging handle is knurled, and the safety and bolt release are oversized. A fiber optic front sight with low profile protective wings gives you a fast aiming point if you skip the optic. It comes with a cylinder bore Accu-Choke installed. For a home defense or vehicle gun that is short, quick and semi auto, the 990 Aftershock SPX covers a lot of ground.
