Mossberg 940 Pro Sporting 12 GA 30" 4rd Walnut Shotgun

The 940 Pro Sporting puts Mossberg's 940 gas gun into a clays and field configuration with a 30" blued vent rib barrel, a 3" chamber and a four shell magazine tube. The adjustable walnut stock offers a 1.25" range of length of pull and comes with shims to set cast and drop, so it can be fitted properly rather than shot as it comes from the box. The receiver is Tungsten Gray with blue accents.

A HiViz CompSight fiber optic front sight sits on the rib, and a Briley extended choke set lets you tighten or open the pattern for skeet, trap or sporting clays. Inside, the gas system is built to go up to 1,500 rounds between cleanings, with a nickel boron coated piston and rings, magazine tube, hammer, sear and shell stop to fight corrosion. An enlarged and beveled loading port, a longer elevator and an anodized follower keep loading quick between stations, and the quick empty magazine release clears the tube fast. The receiver is drilled and tapped. The stock and forend carry Mossberg texturing for grip in wet weather. Weight runs about 7.75 lbs, which helps soak up recoil during a long day on the course or in a dove field.
