Mossberg SA-28 Bantam 28 GA 24" 4rd Shotgun

The Mossberg SA-28 Bantam All Purpose Field is a 28 gauge semi auto scaled down for younger and smaller shooters. The Bantam stock has a 12.5" length of pull, and the 24" vent rib barrel keeps the balance out of the muzzle, so the gun fits and swings without a fight. The gas system vents excess gas to cut recoil and take stress off the operating parts, and 28 gauge is mild to start with, which is a good way to build confidence in a new shooter.

It takes 2.75" shells and holds 4rd in the magazine. The Sport Set of 5 choke tubes is included, so you can open up for quail or close down for a longer shot without buying anything else. The stock is black synthetic, the metal is matte blued and the front sight is a metal bead. A crossbolt safety handles the controls. At 5.5 lbs it is easy for a kid to carry through a long morning of upland hunting, and it is just as comfortable on a clay course or for recreational shooting.
