About this product
The AK Alpha Series quad rail is Midwest Industries' drop in handguard for AKM pattern rifles with stamped receivers, including AK-47 and AK-74 variants. It is 10 inches long with 1913 Picatinny rail space around the handguard for lights, lasers and grips, and it attaches without permanent changes to the rifle. It will not fit Yugo pattern or milled receiver rifles.
Run it as a full handguard or bottom only, or pair it with MI Alpha Series optic mounts, top covers and railed gas tubes. A heat shield is included and there are several QD sling points. Some receivers need slight fitting at the handguard cap. Construction is hard coat anodized aluminum in black, and it weighs 13.3 oz.
